Take the numbers
The government's numbers are free here and stay free: every county's current rate and its full survey history, on its own page, plus a downloadable extract. What will cost money is the work layered on top — comparables, contributed lease terms, and a brief built for the negotiating table.
Free, always
- Every county page: the current rate, its percentile, the typical state range, and every survey year back to 2008.
- The open extract — current-year pasture cash rent by county, with percentile, CC BY 4.0. Attribution required; "Source: PastureRents" with a link does it.

The negotiation packet — paid, per county, not launched yet
What you can't get from the survey alone: a one-page brief formatted to hand across the table, real lease terms as ranchers contribute them (water, fencing, who maintains what, term length), and the stocking-rate bridge between $/acre and per-head rates. The neighboring-county comparison is free on every county page — it isn't part of the paid tier and never will be. A once-a-year purchase ahead of lease-renewal season, not a subscription.
